Dr. Prasad Dhulipala completed his PhD in Biochemistry from S.V. University, Tirupati and worked as Post-doctoral fellow at Jefferson Cancer Centre, Philadelphia researching on Structure and Functional analysis of ETS oncogenes involved in Leukemia and soft tissue tumors.
Dr. Prasad Dhulipala completed his PhD in Biochemistry from S.V. University, Tirupati and worked as Post-doctoral fellow at Jefferson Cancer Centre, Philadelphia researching on Structure and Functional analysis of ETS oncogenes involved in Leukemia and soft tissue tumors. Dr. Dhulipala progressed to faculty at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and Adjunct Asst. Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick investigating Ion-channel gene regulation by different drug molecules. Dr. Dhulipala obtained National Kidney Foundation Career investigator Award to work on Heme Oxygenase regulation in mesangial cells and Glomerulo nephritis.
Dr. Dhulipala worked as R&D Scientist at GE Healthcare and developed nucleic acid labeling, detection, amplification and sequencing reagents and gene expression (cDNA) and disease diagnostic (CGH) microarrays. As Staff Scientist at Life Technologies he developed GIBCO media for single cell cloning and vaccines and feed concentrates for bio-therapeutics production. Dr. Dhulipala was awarded Life Technologies Corporate invention and innovator award in 2011.
Dr. Dhulipala worked as Biotechnology Team Leader at Baker Hughes and developed greener alternatives to hazardous chemicals used in Hydraulic Fracturing. He published more than 45 papers in peer reviewed journals and filed 15 patents. Dr. Dhulipala got 2014, 2015 and 2016 Best Research Project Awards from Baker Hughes Industrial chemicals division. Dr. Dhulipala became life member of Association of Scientists of Indian Origin in America (ASIOA) in 1996 and participating actively in ASIOA programs. Dr. Dhulipala served as its Secretary and President and currently serving as its Executive Officer. He won Biotex Junior scientist, Mario Toppo Distinguished Scientist and Distinguished Service awards from ASIOA Dr. Dhulipala is currently working as Project Manager for Cell and Gene Therapy at Lentigen Technologies, a Miltenyi Biotec company. He holds Six Sigma Green belt and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
