Sree Latha Aramgam is working as Lead Research Specialist at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. She obtained her Masters in Biochemistry, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India.

Sree Latha Aramgam is working as Lead Research Specialist at Emory University, Atlanta, GA. She obtained her Masters in Biochemistry, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India. Immediately after, she established Biochemistry program at Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada and successfully run the Department of Biochemistry for about 10 years as Head of the Department before joining her husband in United States of America. Since then she has been conducting research in the field of biomedical sciences and served at reputed institutions including University of Chicago (Chicago, IL) and Wayne State University School of Medicine (Detroit, MI). In addition,  she  contributed  in  clinical research/trials of infectious diseases including Tuberculosis, Zika, Influenza, Norovirus, C. diff, Yellow Fever, West-Nile virus, and Ebola. To her credit, she authored two biochemistry text books and publications research articles in reputed journals. Currently she assists and conduct research on the 'health risks of galactic cosmic radiation’ to pave path for interplanetary colonization. She studies the molecular mechanisms of galactic cosmic radiation-induced lung carcinogenesis, including the characterization of lung cancer mutational signatures.

She had been active life member of ASIOA since 2012 and played a key role and contributed significantly to ASIOA as a councilor (2012-2016), member of Judging Committee, Organizing member of ASIOA National Meetings & Banquets. She is the recipient of ASIOA Service Award (2018). She thank past ASIOA Officers, Dr.Prasad Dhulipala, Dr. Sarfraz Ahmad and Dr. Durisala Desaiah for their encouragement by providing opportunity and mentoring to serve ASIOA.
